Description
Egg drop project for uni.
Brief: design a device to transport an egg from the top floor of the design school to the ground without breaking. points awarded for long run time and accuracy.
This is my Egg device, based on a glider, it was meant to spiral safely ddown to the target, it didn't
( the weight was too far forward and the rudder angle was wrong making it barrel roll towards the ground)
Also showen are two presentation boards detailing the principles behind the glider.
Foam board, hot glue and paint.
EDIT: grade= B. not bad for something that didn't work!

like the flight idea but u should have tried more of a helicopter idea. the weight of the egg pulling down to create an air resistance on the airfoil and then a spinning motion trying to lift the weight up. the weight creates the kinetic energy and so the blades act more as drag. as far as accuracy u can drop it anywhere and if its balanced it will just go strait down.
